Missouri bound!

The Purple Hearts took off and are heading to MO!

Even though the winds were not particularly cooperative, the team tried to sneak into the sky fairly early so as to log three more legs today. They will watch the weather carefully as there is a storm brewing towards the East all day. During the flight, Teresa noticed that the auto pilot and her heading were drifting off course and she had to correct it in mid flight. This is a little common glitch with the Century Auto Pilot when coupled with the Garmin 430W gps, the heading bugs have to be in agreement within about 20 degrees or eventually the GPS will just take over and track a course on the screen instead of what the pilot has asked the autopilot to do. OH WELL - let's just blame that navigational boo boo on the weather instead of 'old age' and move on!
