Full Stop for the day - West Woodward

The crew decided to take an early day and rest up for the final couple of legs into Prescott tomorrow. Strategically Teresa and Denise have decided to fly much earlier to help temper the heat in the afternoon, and more importantly, the winds and pop up storm cells grow dramatically as the terrain heats up.

Power management in the cockpit has also been sorted out. The ladies will carry three 'power bricks' as back-up power for the extensive array of added on electronics. For the race they are
planning to add a weather tracker as well too and use flight following which will help provide advanced warning for spurious weather cells along their route.

The duo has received constant kindness at every stop and is enjoying the grand adventure however they are looking forward to a few days off in Prescott while the plane is cleaned, checked-in and then impounded until the start of the race. Teresa and Denise are planning only TWO legs tomorrow and will run the longest early and then plan on arriving to the final destination by 14:00H Pacific time.
