Exciting news is that the alternator switch was fast and seamless once the old part was out. At approximately 1:30 Mountain time Teresa and Denise moved through the check-out quickly and advised that the plane should be good to go. They have about a 2 hour and 45 minute leg with headwinds so with marginal luck and NO MORE SURPRISES, the duo should arrive into Prescott by 3:30PM Pacific time.
Pictures will follow later today but for now it seems like the race officials will let them race if they can meet the above schedule.
