This was the first time the ground crew got to inspect the repairs made in Albuquerque. Needless to say we were impressed. The epoxy repair to the strobe not only works perfectly but the tech took the time to even 'color' it to match the bezel's paint scheme! The rudder works perfectly but the graffiti band aid tells you all you need to know about the current paint scheme - HA!
WOW such hospitality at Skyhaven. The students, volunteers and aviation school from the University of Central Missouri set out hot dogs, pancakes, snacks, water bottles all in an air conditioned simulator hangar. Really a nice place to spend a few minutes getting re-charged for the next leg. GO MISSOURI MULES and GO 'MO' !!!
